Martifer guaranteed 217,8MW of wind projects in the first auction of Wind Energy in
Brazil
Martifer SGPS, SA informs that its subsidiary Martifer Renewables has guaranteed 217,8 MW of wind projects the
auction of wind energy that happened yesterday in the Câmara de Comercialização de Energia Elétrica in Brazil.
From a total of 16 possible projects (370 MW), Martifer Renewables won 9 projects with location in Ceará and
Rio Grande do Sul.
The initial bid tariff was $R189 and Martifer obtained tariff between R$151and R$ 152,7.
The beginning of the construction should be in 2011 and its conclusion is scheduled for 2012.
