2016 – Brazil Calendar - Beware of these dates! Dear client, As you may well know Brazil has a considerable number of public and municipal holidays. Over the years Brazil has also been increasingly successful in contracting important congresses and big events, the Olympic Games this year being the best example. In many cities and beaches hotels work with fixed packages at elevated rates during such holidays, congresses, and events, invalidating our contract rates. We mention this as a rule in our General Conditions, however, we have received numerous requests to be more specific. With this purpose in mind we have worked out a calendar with the holidays and the most important events and congresses. The calendar underneath will help you when preparing your price calculations either by working around the difficult dates or by seizing the opportunity and sell the event in a special package.
