Notice to the Market
São Paulo, December 28, 2011 - Viver Incorporadora e Construtora S.A.
(“Viver”) today announced the combination of Viver's construction activities with
Reusing Engenharia e Construções Ltda. (“Reusing”) through the creation of a new
subsidiary, Reusing Construções S.A. (“Reusing Construções”). Viver holds 50% of
the voting stock and total capital of Reusing Construções S.A.
The combination of the activities of the two companies advances Viver’s vertical
integration strategy by strengthening its construction division and ensuring the
Company’s execution capacity in the South of Brazil.
Founded in 2002, Reusing operates in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande
do Sul, developing
both
residential and commercial properties for a variety of
income segments, and employs more than 120 professionals. Viver will be
responsible for the financial management of Reusing Construções while Reusing will
provide additional construction capacity. The projects developed by Reusing
Construções will be controlled by Viver’s corporate system.
