Thinking about the Winter season, the Quinta de
Carapeços Reserva associates the youth, characteristic of
the wines from this region, to the aging capacity provided
by its alcoholic volume and the barrels it aged in.
It is a full-bodied wine, complex, distinct, with citrus and
tropical fruit notes, soft mouth with a slight touch of sweet
wood and a long and persistent end.
The elaboration of this distinct wine, made out of correctly
matured grapes and a careful vinification process, aims to
satisfy the most demanding consumers.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 9 ºC and 11 ºC.
Vinification: Soft pressing after 6 hours of cold skin
maceration followed by alcoholic fermentation in
stainless steel vats.
Age: 12 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel
vats under fine lees.

Thinking about the less warm days, the Quinta de
Carapeços Escolha allies the region native freshness to
an exceptional softness provided by its alcoholic
volume.
The barrels where it aged, contributed with notes of
vanilla, dry fruit, well mature fruit tree and some tropical.
This also very distinct wine is ideal to drink with the most
sophisticated gastronomy.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 8 ºC and 10 ºC.
Vinification: Partial stalk of the grape followed by
alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats during 6
months with weekly bâtonnage.
Age: 6 months in French oak barrels and stainless steel
vats under fine lees.

Tasting notes: Limpid with lemon colour. Intense in the
nose with exotic tropical fruit namely mango, banana
and pineapple.
Harmonious in the mouth, confirming the fruit of the
nose, elegant and with a moderated acidity that brings a
long and pleasant end.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 8 ºC and
10 ºC. With all kind of starters, salads, fish and white meat.
Vinification: Manual harvest, being the grape
transportation made in 15 kg baskets. After the
reception in the cellar, the grapes are pressed and
stalked. The fermentation is made under controlled
temperature at 14 ºC and during 18 days.
Age: Stainless steel vats with weekly bâtonnage during
4 months.

and soft mouth. The low balanced acidity confers this
wine an excellent texture, good volume and a full and
long end.

Vinification: Manual harvest, being the grape
transportation made in 15 kg baskets. After the
reception in the cellar, the grapes are pressed and
stalked. The fermentation is made under controlled

Tasting notes: Intense rose colour with red fresh fruits
notes. The acidity is present but well balanced,
conferring this wine the typical freshness of this grape
variety. Soft and long end.

meat and cheese.
Vinification: Manual harvest, being the grape

Tasting notes: Limpid with dark red colour. Intense nose
with wild fresh fruit notes. Dense in the mouth,
full-bodied, with tannins well present conferring an
excellent structure and persistent end.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 10 ºC and
12 ºC. With cheese, fat fish and red meat.
Vinification: Tank fermentation with maceration at
25 ºC-28 ºC between 5 and 8 days.
Age: Stainless steel vats under fine lees during 3 months.

WINTER

This was the first Late Harvest to be produced in the
Vinho Verde Region.
Several experiences allowed to conclude that the
Espadeiro grape variety reveals a huge potential for
producing natural sweet wines. After a longer than usual
period on the vineyard, the grapes are pressed,
obtaining a very concentrated must that, after a slow
fermentation and aging, results in a unique wine with
notes of honey and dry fruits, smooth mouth, sweet and
very long end.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 6 ºC and 8 ºC.
Age: One year in used oak barrel.

After a careful selection of the best white grapes
produced in Quinta de Carapeços, we obtained a base
white wine, that after fermentation in the bottle and
extended age, by the traditional method, resulted in this
fantastic Sparkling White Wine with fine and persistent
bubble, dry fruit notes and with long, pleasant and
persistent end.
Consumption: Drinking temperature between 6 ºC and
8 ºC. With all kind of starters, seafood, several fish
dishes, white and red meat dishes, but not too spicy.
Age: Over two years under fine lees.
