• perceive the main contents in everyday, simple conversations and short, clear messages. (level A1/A2)

• use the language in simple, everyday situations. (level A1/A2)

• use the language in everyday situations such as short, personal letters and messages. (A2)

• account for elementary Brazilian realia.
Course main content
In the course is included reading of simple texts, written exercises, listening comprehension and simple
dialogues with the emphasis on everyday vocabulary and everyday phrases. Exercises in the basic grammar and
pronunciation of Brazilian Portuguese. Elements about Brazil, Brazilian culture, society and technical
development.
