Cabin Award
O Projecto LIFE integra a Shortlist de nomeações
do CRYSTAL CABIN AWARD ao lado de empresas
como a Airbus, a Lufthansa Technik e a Zodiac
Aerospace. Este é o único prémio internacional de
excelência em inovação para interiores aeronáuticos.
O projecto concorreu na categoria de “Conceitos
Visionários” destinado a projectos que prevejam o
transporte aéreo do futuro, o aumento do conforto
do passageiro e a maior eficiência da aeronave.
The LIFE Project is part of the Shortlist for the
CRYSTAL CABIN AWARD nominations along with
companies like Airbus, Lufthansa Technik and
Zodiac Aerospace. This is the only international
award for excellence in aircraft interior innovation.
The Project competed in the “Visionary Concepts”
category, for future aircraft cabins focusing on the
increase of passenger comfort and efficiency of the
aircraft.
O LIFE é um conceito inovador com ênfase no uso
de materiais naturais e sustentáveis, que combina
novas tecnologias e materiais como o couro e
cortiça apresentando uma visão para uma cabine
sofisticada e confortável, com uma baixa pegada
ecológica.
LIFE is an innovative interior concept using natural
and sustainable materials. Combining state of the
art technology and materials like leather and cork,
LIFE presents a vision for a sophisticated,
comfortable aircraft cabin with a low environmental
footprint.
O design do projecto LIFE resulta da colaboração
da Almadesign com o consórcio constituído pela
Amorim Cork Composites, a Couro Azul, o INEGI e
a SET. A participação do construtor aeronáutico
Embraer foi fundamental para contextualizar o
conceito no mercado aeronáutico.
The LIFE design is the output of the collaboration of
Almadesign with the Consortium held by Amorim
Cork Composites, Couro Azul, INEGI and SET. The
participation of EMBRAER was critical for an
appropriate aeronautic market positioning.
A entrega de prémios irá realizar-se a 27 de Março,
no âmbito da Aircraft Interiors Expo, em Hamburgo,
onde a Almadesign estará presente juntamente com
os restantes parceiros, no stand 1A25.

The awards ceremony will take place on the 27th
March, at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg,
where Almadesign will be present with Couro Azul,
Ineg and SETsa in stand 1A25.
