The Zaclitracs MISSOM® are composed of fifteen
stops produced in different woods and can be
built with or without a sounding board.
Os Zaclitracs MISSOM® são compostos por
quinze batentes produzidos em diferentes
madeiras, podendo ser construído com ou sem
caixa de ressonância.
Holds with both hands, one below and one above,
it is played by shaking strongly in certain rate so
that all the hammers hit the board at the same
time and in a regular rhythm and varied.
Segura-se com as duas mãos, uma em baixo e
outra em cima, e sacode-se fortemente em
cadência certa de modo a que os martelos batam
todos na tábua ao mesmo tempo e num ritmo
variado e regular.
The Zaclitracs are often played together by many
players at the same time.
Os Zaclitracs tocam-se em conjunto, por muitos
músicos, ao mesmo tempo.
"In the North of Portugal , in the city of Viana do
Castelo, for example, Afife and Montedor, the
Zaclitracs are used which have several series of

várias séries de martelos, dispostos quatro a
quatro ou cinco a cinco em duas e às vezes três
linhas, e com a ponta do cabo enfiado num eixo
de arame. (...) Segura-se com as duas mãos, uma
em baixo e outra em cima, e sacode-se
fortemente em cadência certa de modo a que os
martelos batam todos na tábua ao mesmo tempo
e num ritmo variado e regular, o que por vezes é
difícil de realizar com perfeição. Os Zaclitracs
tocam-se em conjunto, por muitos rapazes, ao
