Intraoral Latex Elastic
Intermaxillary elastics used in the application of traction forces on dental elements
generating intercuspations and other movements for the correction of malocclusions.
Use Indication:
- Class I, II and III treatment;
- Correction of median line and posterior crossbite.

NON
STERILE
- Non reusable product, as its reuse may cause cross infection and loss of performance.
- Non-sterile product, the professional is responsible for the good work practices.
Product decontamination or disinfection may be done with peracetic acid in a 0,2%
concentration by immersing the product for about 10 minutes, than remove it and
wash in running water, dry it with paper or a clean piece of gauze.
- Do not use the product if the packaging is violated, since in such case the
product may have been contaminated by external agents.
- The product shall be given to the patient by a qualified professional, which must guide
about correct use of the product predicting the elastic ring regularly replacement, as in
case of breakages, interval between meals and oral hygiene.
- The product is made of natural latex rubber and the release of proteins may cause
allergy or anaphylactic response on some patients.
Make sure the patient is not hypersensitive to latex proteins before applying the
product.
