From the 22nd to 25th October, 2009, The Pedra Azul region in Espirito Santo
will be the stage for the International Wine Meeting. An event that promotes the
ideal condition for exclusive tastings of more than 60 remarkable wines, under
the supervision of specialist of national and international fame.
The perfect scenario for the Meeting is the (Hotel) Pousada Pedra Azul, located
in a region of exuberant nature and cool temperatures just 80 km (50 miles)
from Vitoria, capital of Espirito Santo. Pousada Pedra Azul takes its name from
the nearby woodland which is called Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul. The
Pousada is situated in one of the most charming mountain sceneries in the
country and boasts an excellent tourist infra-structure.
The International Wine Meeting, apart from the area for tastings, will also have
an 800 m² lounge where the participants and guests can meet and socialize. In
this lounge there will be a fair for the wine companies with 22 stands of varied
area, a varanda and a panoramic view facing a lake and the Pedra Azul
