Abstract: This study aimed to identify species of foraminifera in sediments of middle
continental shelf of Bahia based on the similarities between the number of individuals of
each species in the samples. Applying cluster methods Ward and k-Médias was allowed
characterize a predominance of species Peneroplis carinatus, Peneroplis bradyi,
Amphistegina lessonii e Amphistegina gibbosa.
