Visão geral
As Definições avançadas de e-mail lhe permitem digitalizar um documento e convertê-lo em um arquivo PDF altamente
compactado usando o método Mixed Raster Content (MRC). Isso reduz o tamanho do documento digitalizado e mantém
a sua qualidade. O aplicativo também suporta reconhecimento óptico de caracteres (OCR), que converte um documento
digitalizado em um arquivo PDF ou TXT pesquisável.
Depois que o documento for digitalizado e convertido em um arquivo PDF ou TXT, ele poderá ser enviado para um
endereço de e-mail usando a impressora.
Nota: O aplicativo requer espaço disponível no disco rígido da impressora. Instale um disco rígido se a impressora
não tiver um. Para obter informações sobre a instalação do disco rígido na impressora, consulte o Guia do usuário da
impressora.

Configurando opções de digitalização
1 Acesse as definições de configuração do aplicativo no Embedded Web Server.
2 Se necessário, na seção Configurações padrão, clique em Alterar padrão de configurações de e-mail para ajustar
as configurações.
Nota: O e-mail deve ser configurado na impressora para usar esse aplicativo. Para obter mais informações,
consulte o Guia do usuário da impressora.
3 Na seção Configurações Premium, configure o seguinte:
• Tipo de arquivo PDF: selecione o tipo de arquivo PDF.
• OCR (Converter em texto): selecione uma opção para ativar ou desativar o OCR.
• Formato de arquivo OCR: selecione o formato padrão de OCR.
• Idiomas reconhecidos de OCR: selecione o idioma ou os idiomas que deseja que o OCR reconheça.
• Processamento adicional OCR: selecione as opções para melhorar a legibilidade dos arquivos digitalizados OCR.
– Rotação automática: ela permite girar automaticamente os documentos digitalizados para a orientação
correta.
– Detecção inversa: permite que o OCR reconheça texto de alto contraste, como texto branco em preto.
Nota: Verifique se o Lexmark AccuRead OCR está instalado e ativado para usar a função OCR.

Digitalização de documentos para e-mail
1 Carregue o documento.
Nota: Documentos pode ser colocados no Alimentador automático de documentos (ADF) ou no vidro do
scanner. Para obter mais informações sobre o carregamento adequado do documento, consulte o Guia do
usuário da impressora.
2 Se necessário, insira as credenciais de autenticação.
3 Na tela Bem-vindo da multifuncional, toque no ícone do aplicativo.
4 Insira os destinatários.
5 Se necessário, ajuste as configurações da digitalização e toque em Enviar ou Enviar e‑mail.
6 Se o OCR estiver ativado, selecione o tipo de arquivo OCR e toque em

Nota: Para converter o documento digitalizado em um PDF compactado, desative o OCR. Certifique-se de que o
PDF compactado esteja definido como o tipo de arquivo padrão nas configurações do aplicativo do Embedded
Web Server.
7 Se quiser digitalizar documentos adicionais, coloque o próximo documento e depois toque em Digitalizar a próxima
página.
8 Toque em Concluir o trabalho.

Embedded Web Server
Você pode exportar as definições de configuração para um arquivo de texto e importar esse arquivo a fim de aplicar
as definições em outras impressoras.
1 No Embedded Web Server, clique em Definições ou Configuração e realize uma destas ações:
• Clique em Apps >Gerenc. de apps.
• Clique em Soluções de dispositivo >Soluções (eSF).
• Clique em Soluções incorporadas.
2 Na lista de aplicativos instalados, clique no nome do aplicativo que você deseja configurar.
3 Clique em Configurar e faça o seguinte:
• Para exportar uma configuração para um arquivo, clique em Exportar e siga as instruções na tela do computador
para salvar o arquivo de configuração.
Nota: Se ocorrer um erro JVM sem memória, você deverá repetir a exportação até o arquivo de
configuração ser salvo.
• Para importar uma configuração de um arquivo, clique em Importar e vá até o arquivo de configuração salvo
que foi exportado de uma impressora configurada anteriormente.
