GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
2° EDITION / 2015
1. The Second International Exhibition Ciudades Reveladas will be held in the City of Buenos
Aires, from 3 to 9 September 2015.
2. The call will be open from March 1st to May 1st, 2015.
3. Both Argentinian and Foreign productions may participate.
4. The works submitted must be productions made after January 1st, 2012.
5. The call is open for short, medium length and feature films of fiction, animation,
documentary and experimental.
6. Audiovisual works covering some of the following themes can participate: urban
transformations, urban environment, interventions in public space, architecture and urban
planning, access to housing, right to the city, urban characters, globalization and urban space,
urban social and cultural movements, or other topics related to the experience of inhabiting
the cities.
7. The person responsible for the participation in this call shall have the copyright to the
work, or the authorization of who owns such rights. The person registered commits him- or
herself to refraining form holding accountable the organizers of the Exhibition Revealed Cities
in case of possible claims third parties might have, directly or indirectly, regarding the
copyright of the work.
8. Films spoken in another language than Spanish should be provided with subtitles in
Spanish.
9. Institutional or advertising works and television programs will not be accepted.
10. All the works will be evaluated by a committee integrated by members of the organization
of Revealed Cities. This committee will select the works that will integrate programming.
11. After selecting the works that will participate in the exhibition, the person responsible will
be asked to send by mail two images from the film (300 dpi, jpg).

12. Revealed Cities is a nonprofit exhibition, therefore it does not include fee payments or
exhibition rights to movies that require it.
13 Registration automatically empowers the Exhibition organizers to use in a free and nonprofit manner any fragment of a film with a maximum length of 2 minutes for promotional
purposes of the Exhibition.
14. Copies and materials presented at this call will not be returned. They will become part of
the library of Revealed Cities.
15. If the selected works have another format projection, it may eventually be required by the
organization of the Exhibition to provide better quality the day of the performance. In that
case it will coordinate the delivery and return of such copies with the person responsible for
the work.
16. The works selected for the Exhibition could be shown later in traveling exhibitions and /
or cycles of Revealed Cities, nonprofit and always prior notice to the person responsible for
the work.
17. Matters not contemplated in these regulations will be resolved by the organizers of the
Exhibition, if and when justified by unforeseen circumstances.
18. The registration of a work implies prior acceptance of the above conditions.
REGISTRATION
19. The registration of a film is free of charge.
20. Registration is done by completing the form for this purpose online before May 1st 2015.
The form can be found on the website www.ciudadesreveladas.com.ar.
21. In case of sending the material through common mail or any other courier, the date
registered on the postal stamp will serve as the delivery date.
22. In case of sending us a screening link, the delivery date is the date of the email in which
the link is send to us.
DELIVERY OF MATERIAL
23. Interested parties can submit their audiovisual materials either through a SCREENING
LINK or they can send a copie in DVD.
24. SCREENING LINK: this link should appear in the registration form filled out online.

24.1. Furthermore, the General Conditions of Participation should be signed by the person
responsible for the work submitted. A scanned version should be send to:
[email protected]. The subject line of this email should read the title of the film
in capital letters.
25. DVD: If DVD format is chosen, two (2) copies of the work on DVD (NTSC or PAL) must be
submitted. Both the cap cover and the cd must be labeled with the work title, director and
duration.
25.1. One (1) DVD per work should be submitted. In case of registering more than one work,
each one should be submitted on a separate DVD.
25.2. In addition to the copies, the shipment must include a printed version of these General
Conditions of Participation, signed by the person responsible for the work.
25.3. The envelope must clarify "no commercial value, for cultural purposes only"
25.4 The shipping costs of the materials are on account and paid by participants.
25.5. The organization of the exhibition is not responsible for loss or damage of the materials
during shipment.
25.6. Sending the material shall be by postal mail or may be personally mail the following
