Dear Members of the AIC- International Colour Association Executive Committee,
The Portuguese Colour Association is honoured to be member of the International Colour
Association.
This membership represents a landmark for our participation in an
international forum where the exchanges of ideas allow for the process of transmutation
of the state of knowledge on colour to take place. At this larger scale of interaction, we
hope to contribute positively to the development of research, educational background
and communication of the phenomenon that brought us together.
On behalf of the Portuguese Colour Association I would like to extend my gratitude to all
Executive Committee members for the words with which you welcomed our association as
a new member of the International Colour Association during the Executive Committee
meeting held at the AIC05 Congress in Granada.
In the various phases required to join the International Colour Association, President Paula
Alessi shared her enthusiasm with us and in her words we found a source of
encouragement : to the President of the AIC we wish to express our most sincere
appreciation and recognition.
