Highways of the CCR Group, once again featured among the best in the country in the CNT Ranking The Castello Branco highway was elected the best. The Bandeirantes highway placed second and Anhanguera placed sixth. Of the top 20, 19 are highways under concession in the state of São Paulo. The National Transport Confederation – CNT – published yesterday the 2011 CNT Highway Survey, and once again, the highways managed by the CCR Group featured among the best in the Country. The Castello Branco Highway (SP – 280), managed by CCR ViaOeste and CCR SPVias, was elected the best in the country, as in 2010. The Bandeirantes Highway (SP-348), of CCR AutoBAn, ranked second. In sixth place, the same concessionaire was highlighted, this time for the Anhanguera Highway (SP-330). Besides the good classifications on the country’s top ten ranking, all of the highways managed by CCR obtained very positive results and received either excellent or good in every category. Of the 20 best highways, 19 are under concession to private initiative in the state of São Paulo. The CNT annual survey evaluates characteristics such as conservation, pavement, and signalization of over 92 thousand kilometers of paved federal highways, aside from segments of the most significant state highways. In 2010, the investments totaled R$ 951.2 million. It is estimated that, until the end of 2011, the company will have invested around R$1.195 billion in works that increase the fluidity, safety, and comfort of its users, and the development of the cities surrounding the highways.
