Laboratory Sample Pre-Dryer - IR-K-B:
Laboratory equiment with infra-red heaters and automatic sample transport for pre-drying of samples coming from several
coating, dyeing or finishing applications.
Sample holders (pin frames) used on other Mathis´ laboratory equipments, as tenter frames, steamers, and coating heads are
the same as used on the IR-K pre-dryer.
Sample on holder is automatically moved through the IR-K dryer, moving by all the electric infra-red heaters located below and
above the sample. Lower or upper, or all infra-red heaters at once can be switched on for drying.
Intensity of the electric infra-red heaters can be adjusted by potentiometer on panel.
Infra-red sensor measures the temperature of sample surface during transport. Digital display on panel shows sample temperature.
Another potentiometer on panel commands the transport speed. Digital display on panel shows sample moving speed.
When sample arrives at the end position of dryer it stops automatically, and moves back to initial start position.
Sample moving and drying can be interrupted any time by Stop button on panel, and re-started by forward or backward buttons.
