HISTÓRICO
Fundada em 1986, a Civilport vem participando de grandes empreendimentos de
construção civil, atuando, no início, exclusivamente no setor de obras portuárias. A
empresa, já em seus primeiros anos, fez o gerenciamento de importantes obras como
o Píer Petroleiro de Itaqui, Porto de Natal e Terminal de Containeres de Rio Grande,
todos contratados junto a Portobras e muitas outras.
Com um corpo técnico de reconhecida capacidade e a sua grande experiência em execução de obras, logo a Civilport passou a construir e, desde então, tem participado de
importantes empreendimentos em todo o país. Assim, a empresa vem se impondo no
mercado de construção pesada realizando algumas importantes obras como: o Cais
da Jarí Celulose e Terminal de Caulim de Munguba, empreendimentos realizados em
plena floresta amazônica e de difícil logística; a ampliação do Porto de São Fran- cisco do Sul/SC; o Terminal de Embarque de Madeira de Caravelas/BA e o Terminal de
Desembarque de Madeira em Barra do Riacho/ES, modificando o modal de transporte
de madeira da fábrica de celulose da Aracruz; os cais de salvatagem dos aeroportos
do Galeão e do Santos Dumont, ambos no Rio de Janeiro; a construção do dolfim de
amarração do Terminal de Containeres da Libra, no Porto do Rio de Janeiro; a reconstrução do dolfim 3 do Terminal de Minério de Ferro da Companhia Portuária da Baia
de Sepetiba e a ampliação do Terminal de Minério de Ferro da Ilha Guaíba, ambos
empreendimentos para a companhia Vale.
A partir do crescente mercado de mineração, a Civilport integrou os consórcios construtores do Super Porto do Açu e do Porto Sudeste, obras do grupo EBX. Estas obras
são dois dos maiores empreendimentos portuários da história do Brasil.
Founded in 1986, Civilport has been taking part in major undertakings of civil construction,
acting, at the beginning, exclusively on the sector of port works. The company, already in
its first years, carried out the management of important works such as Petroleum Pier of
Itaqui (Pier Petroleiro de Itaqui), Port of Natal (Porto de Natal) and Container Terminal in
Rio Grande (Terminal de Containers do Rio Grande), all contracted with Portobras.
Having a technical body with recognized qualification, and its great experience on the
execution of works, soon Civilport entered the constructing area, and since then, has
taken part in important undertakings all over the country. Thus, the company has been
prevailing on the market of heavy construction and has carried out some important
works such as: Jeri Cellulose Quay (Cais da Jeri Celulose) and Munguba Kaolin Terminal
(Terminal de Caulim de Munguba), undertakings carried out right in the Amazon forest
and with a difficult logistic; the enlargement of the São Francisco do Sul Port (Porto de São
Francisco do Sul); Wood Embarkation Terminal (Terminal de Embarcação de Madeira) in
Caravelas/ BA, and the Wood Disembarkation Terminal (Terminal de Desembarque de
Madeira) in Barra do Riacho/ES, changing the wood transport modal from the Aracruz
cellulose factory of the salvage quay (cais de salvatagem) at the Galeão and Santos
Dumont Airports, both in Rio de Janeiro; the construction of the mooring dolphin of the
Container Terminal of Libra, in Rio de Janeiro Port; the reconstruction of dolphin 3 of the
Iron Ore Terminal (Terminal de Minério de Ferro) of the Companhia Portuária da Baía de
Sepetiba and the enlargement of the Iron ore Terminal (Terminal de Minério de Ferro) at
Guaíba Island, both undertakings for the company Vale.
From the growing mining market, Civilport has integrated the constructing consortiums of
Açu Super Port as well as Sudeste Port (Super Porto do Açu and Porto Sudeste), works for
the EBX group. Such works are two of the biggest port undertakings in the history of Brazil.
Graças à polivalência e competência do seu corpo técnico, a Civilport também vem
participando, ao longo de sua história, de importantes empreendimentos em outros
setores da construção civil, conseguindo ser reconhecida pela excelência na execução de obras industriais dos mais variados tipos e clientes. Algumas obras de maior
relevância são: Pátio de Madeira da Jarí Celulose/PA; Planta de Evaporação e Torre
de Resfriamento da Fabrica de Celulose da Veracel/BA; Planta de Separação de Gases da Air Liquide no complexo siderúrgico da ThyssenKrupp/CSA, no Rio de Janeiro;
Projeto Jacarandá – ampliação da fábrica de pneus da Michelin no Rio de Janeiro,
entre outros.
Thanks to the multivalency and competence of its technical group, Civilport has also
been taking part, along its history, in important undertakings in other sectors of the civil
construction, thus becoming recognized for the excellence in the execution of industrial
works of the most varied types and clients. Some more relevant works are: Wood Patio
(Pátio de Madeira) of Jari Celulose/PA; Evaporation Plant and Cooling Tower (Planta
de Evaporação e Torre de Resfriamento) of the Cellulose Factory from Veracel/BA;
Gas separation plant (Planta de separação de gases) for Air Liquide, in the metallurgic
complex of ThyssenkKrupp/CSA, in Rio de Janeiro; Jacarandá Project – enlargement of
the Michelin tire factory in Rio de Janeiro; among others.
A Civilport também participa, de forma constante, de empreendimentos de urbanização e saneamento, tendo executado diversas praças, viadutos, pontes e canalizações,
notadamente no Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
Along its almost 30 years of existence, Civilport has also taken part in a constant way,
in urbanization and sanitation undertakings, having constructed several public squares,
