Pursuant to Ordinance No. 226 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy of
September 30, 2004 new terms were granted for the concession of hydroelectric power plants of
Estreito (Luis Carlos Barreto), Funil, Furnas, Marimbondo, Porto Colômbia e Mascarenhas de
Moraes and of thermoelectric power plants of Santa Cruz, ad shown above. Regarding other
power plants, concession criteria were determined by the aforementioned Ordinance, except for
the power plants of Itumbiara and Manso, whose concession terms had already been determined.
