Estructuras metálicas y mixtas Nuno Lopes, Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal The aim of this proposal is to gather in a session of the conference important and interesting numerical research works dealing with steel and composite steel and concrete structures. Works related with numerical simulations of entire structures, structural elements (beams columns and beam‐columns) and connections will be the object of this thematic session. Moreover, the influence on those structures or structural components, of the consideration of different actions such as the ones resulted from seismic, fire events or even others, can be addressed in this session.
