SILVA, Antônio Kleber da. POLÍTICA INDUSTRIAL NO CEARÁ: UMA
ANÁLISE DO FDI NO PERÍODO DE 1995 – 2006. (2010.2).
O estudo tem como objetivo analisar as mudanças observadas no estado do Ceará, entre
1995 e 2006, a partir do Fundo de Desenvolvimento Industrial do Ceará (FDI), que visa
promover o desenvolvimento industrial e, conseqüentemente, o crescimento econômico
do estado do Ceará. A metodologia adotada será a pesquisa descritiva, bibliográfica e
documental, baseada na obra de autores especialistas na temática sugerida. Neste
trabalho serão utilizados dados de fontes secundárias, como: FIEC, IBGE, IPECE,
RAIS, UFC, dentre outras fontes relevantes. Os resultados evidenciaram que há uma
maior concentração de investimentos na Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza (RMF), as
empresas originárias do Ceará foram as principais beneficiárias do FDI, e houve um
aumento da participação do PIB industrial, com relação ao PIB total do Estado, o que
revela a importância do FDI como instrumento da política industrial do Ceará.

ABSTRACT
The study aims to analyze the observed changes in the state of Ceara, between 1995 and
2006, from the Industrial Development Fund of Ceara (FDI), which aims to promote
industrial development and economic growth in the state as well. The chosen
methodology will be the descriptive, bibliographic and documentary research, based on
the papers of the specialist authors on the suggested theme. In this paper we used data
from secondary sources, such as: FIEC, IBGE, IPECE, RAIS, UFC, among other
relevant sources. The results showed that there is a greater concentration of investments
in the Metropolitan Region of Fortaleza (FMR) and also companies from Ceara were
the main beneficiaries of FDI and there was an increase in the share of industrial GDP
related to the total GDP of the state, which reveals the importance of FDI as an
instrument of Ceara industrial policy.
