J.E.A.R. Silva, received his Bs. in Agricultural Engineering in 1996 at Unicamp;
the MS degree in Production Engineering in 2006 at UFSCar and the PhD in
Production Engineering in 2011 at UFSCar as well. From 1997 to 2007 He
worked as a researcher at Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira, with sugarcane
harvesting and transport simulation and agricultural machinery evaluation.
Currently, He is professor at UFSCar at Sorocaba. His research interests
includes: Logistics Systems Simulation, Maintenance Management, Reverse
Logistics and Project Management.
