N O T A . — Esta especie apenas foi colhida em Portugal pelo sr. Daveau
(no anno de 1 8 8 1 ) , nao tornando a ser encontrada depois. E n t r e os e x e m plares da fórma typica notam-se alguns com pequeninas bracteas esteréis,
violáceas, no cimo da iullorescencia, fazendo a transicào para a S. Horminum, L . , que é apenas a fórma extrema d'esta mesma especie, conforme
primeiro o sustentou Caruel, na Flora
Italiana.
