A member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and of The Counselors of Real Estate. He has a degree in automobile engineering and transport management studies by the Chelsea College of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering. He is an Environmental Inspector Phase 1 by EEA and attended some NArea valuation courses. Prior to joining CBRE, Frederico has worked for ICEP (Portuguese Trade Office) Industrial department (1987 - 1990), for American Appraisal as a Real Estate and Machinery and Equipment appraiser (1990 - 1992), for Phimo Avaliação as Director (1992 - 1999), for CPU Consultores as Director of the mortgage valuation department (1999 - 2001), for MPC Capital Real Estate Consulting (2001 - 2002), as a Free Lance appraiser for many companies and banks (2002 2005) and as Director of the valuation department of American Appraisal (2005 - 2007). Official valuer of ISP – Instituto de Seguros de Portugal (Portugal Insurance Institute) – and CMVM (Stock Exchange Regulatory Board). He’s been in the valuation business since 1990. John Rowlands John has a Bachelor degree in Land Economy BLE (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen in the UK. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). John worked previously for DTZ based in the valuation department in Edinburgh, Scotland and has experience in valuing property both for Investment funds and also for secured lending purposes. He’s been in the valuation business since 2001 and joined CBRE valuation team in July 2007. JOHN ROWLANDS Senior Consultant Coordinator 20 OUR TEAM Valuations Inês Almeida INÊS ALMEIDA Inês has a degree in Urban Planning and Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). Following successful completion of her degree she undertook a Post-Graduate study in Project and Planning of Sustainable Construction from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) and a Course on Real Estate Evaluation from the Escola Superior de Avaliação Imobiliária (ESAI). From September 2004 till December 2006 Inês worked at Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo (CCDR-LVT) in the Direcção de Gestão Territorial. In 2007 she joined the Communitary Programme URBAN II, assuming a management role. During her time working for CCDR-LVT she was involved in valuation of real estate acting as a self employed consultant. Working in valuations since June 2007, Inês joined the valuation department of CBRE in January 2008. Senior Consultant José Hermozilha José has a Degree in Civil Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon and successfully completed a Course in Real Estate Evaluation from the Escola Superior de Avaliação Imobiliária (ESAI). He has worked previously at American Appraisal [2005-2007] as a Real Estate and Machinery appraisal. JOSÉ HERMOZILHA Senior Consultant 21 OUR TEAM Valuations Ricardo Serrano RICARDO SERRANO Civil Engineering degree from ISEL (Lisbon Superior Engineering Institute), he is Member of the Ordem dos Engenheiros (Chartered Engineer in Portugal). Ricardo spent five years working at one of the largest and most important construction firms in Portugal, Edifer Construções. During that period he obtained his PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) and became a certified member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). At Edifer Construções, his responsibilities as construction manager were coordination of the project teams (subcontractor, client, architects, local municipality etc), control of construction works, monitoring and control of the planning and budget, reports preparation (cost, schedule and scope of work), change request analysis. He joined CBRE valuation department in February 2013. Consultant Maria João Lito (Porto) Degree in Architecture from Faculdade de Arquitectura e Artes of Universidade Lusíada do Porto. Maria João has a specialisation course in Real Estate Valuation from Universidade Lusíada do Porto. Worked as a trainee architect at Arquitectos Pioledo between September 2003 and January 2005. Joined Predibisa in September 2005 working as an agent in the residential department until December of 2006. Maria João has been working in valuations since 2007, the year she has joined the valuation department of CBRE.
