The Paris Air Show has been the world's leading aviation and space event for over 100 years.
The 49th Paris Air Show will take place at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 20 to 26 June 2011, and
will once again bring together all the industry's players worldwide to showcase the latest
technological innovations.
The first 4 days of the Show, exclusively for the industry, are followed by 3 days for the general
public.
The Paris Air Show is organised by Salon International de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace (SIAE), a
subsidiary of GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association).

2. Event Notes
Portugal has been present at “Le Bourget Paris Air Show” from the 20th to 26th June, with a total of
37 skilled companies and entities in the aeronautical, defence and aerospace sectors.
For over a century, Le Bourget is the leading and largest worldwide event dedicated to the aviation
and space industry and is renowned for being the central event for doing business in these sectors.
In this year’s event, Portugal has delivered a world premier: The “Life Project”. A Lighter,
Integrated, Friendly and Eco-efficient Aircraft Cabin. In this website you can see a vast display of
Portuguese innovative projects and services within the aeronautical world
