Na década de 40 o saudoso Professor Jessé Teixeira, do qual tenho as melhores recordações, pois
quando acadêmico residente do Hospital do Jaçanã, ele era um dos mais conceituados cirurgiões de
tórax. Trabalhava no Rio de Janeiro, Hospital dos Marítimos. Pesquisador não acomodado, inventivo
por excelência, idealizou varias técnicas, instrumentos cirúrgicos e inclusive escreveu um livro notável
sobre câncer do pulmão. Segundo me consta, o professor Jesse Teixeira foi quem idealizou a AutoHemoterapia, que se mostrou valiosa na prevenção de infecções de suas operações, quando ainda
não havia antibióticos. Procedimento muito simples. Retira-se 5 a 10 ml de sangue venoso, o qual é
imediatamente injetado no músculo. O sangue injetado no músculo, agiria como antígeno e
estimularia a gênese de anticorpos contra infecções, células cancerosas, processos alérgicos e
principalmente doenças auto-imunes. Naquela época, 1940, havia uma “epidemia” de AutoHemoterapia. Aqui na Santa Helena o enfermeiro Florêncio, que gostava de chegar muito cedo no
Hospital, tinha uma verdadeira clinica de Auto-Hemoterapia. Com o advento dos antibióticos e das
vacinas, a Auto-Hemoterapia caiu em desuso. Mas como tudo em medicina é moda, a moda veio, a
moda foi e agora esta voltando.
Recentemente fui questionado sobre o valor da Auto-Hemoterapia. Mostrei-me totalmente descrente,
mas pesquisando melhor e tendo conhecimento que esse procedimento foi idealizado e testado em
animais pelo Professor Jesse Teixeira, não posso deixar de reconsiderar e recomendar que
experimentem a Auto-Hemoterapia. O procedimento é custo zero. Não apresenta contra indicações
ou complicações importantes e tem se revelado valioso auxiliar terapêutico. Os resultados dessa
terapia passaram a incomodar e muito os poderosos “picaretas” do mercantilismo assistencial, os
quais se organizaram e rapidamente proibiram a Auto-Hemoterapia. Foi uma violência arbitraria que
desrespeitou o médico e o paciente. Pela abrangência que envolveu todos os órgãos controladores
da Medicina, Farmácia e Enfermagem e pela rapidez com que a medida foi implantada, ficou
claramente demonstrado que o médico de hoje esta engessado, mentalmente castrado, a Medicina
transformada em zootécnica e o paciente em fonte de lucro e nada mais.
