Dear friends,
The Gymnastics Federation of Portugal and the Academia CantanhedeGym, welcome all participating teams to the
rd
nd
3 Edition of the Aerobic Gymnastics International Team Cup, that will be held on the 2 of March 2013, in
Marialvas Sports Hall, Cantanhede city. This international competition started in 2007 with the designated name of
“Latin Cup” with the participation of Spain national team. In 2011 the Latin Cup became the “International Team
Cup Competition” held in the city of Cantanhede to allow other nations to also participate.
This work plan as the purpose to provide all necessary information concerning the participation of all teams at the
above mentioned competition.

7. Technical Regulations: The event will be organized under the following FIG rules, as valid in the year of
the event, except for any deviation mentioned in these directives.
• Statutes; • Technical Regulations; • Code of Points and relevant Newsletters; • General Judges’ Rules
• Specific Judges’ Rules; • Doping Control Rules; • License rules (except for non competitive events);
• Media Rules; • Apparatus Norms; • FIG Rules for Sanctioning (approval) of International Events
• Advertising and Publicity Rules and subsequent decisions of the FIG Executive Committee
7.1. International Team Club Competition Rules:
a) Each team must participate in 3 different categories (IW/IM/MP/TR/GR AER/AD/ST) from 2 different
Age Groups (AG1/AG2-Juniors/Seniors), with minimum 4 and maximum 8 routines;
b) The team ranking will be defined by adding the 4 best final scores of each team;
c) The team with the highest final score will be the winner of the International Team Cup Competition
2013;
d) All competitors will receive participation diplomas;
e) The International Team Cup will be awarded to the 1st team. The 2nd and 3rd teams will receive
medals.

8. Competition Jury: The jury will be composed by international judges from the participating nations. Each
participating federation must provide minimum one judge Cat. 1,2,3 or 4 with current valid FIG brevet 2013-16.
The Juries are set up by draw and directed by the Superior jury Technical Director of the competition. Priority
will be given to the judges of highest category.

11. Awards: The International Team Cup will be awarded to the 1st team with the best final score. The 2nd
and 3rd teams will receive medals. The Team Cup Prize Money will be:

13. Medical: The Host Federation, the Organizing Committee and the FIG will not be held responsible for any
Liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation and the like. The FIG Technical Regulations (Section 1,
article 12.10) foresee that all participating Federations are responsible for making their own arrangements
to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the
members of their Delegation. The OC will verify the insurance upon arrival of the delegation members (e.g.
cover note or photocopy of the valid policy).
a) Physiotherapist & Medical Services: During the Trainings and Competitions the OC will provide
these support services to all participating teams.
14. Transports: The delegations have to cover by themselves the costs for their international transportation.
The Local Organizing Committee will manage the transport service from the OPORTO International airport
to the accommodation place in Cantanhede and to the competition hall with the previously set fee payment
until 04th of January of 2013.
15. Accreditation: The accreditation of all teams will be done on Friday and Saturday upon arrival of the
teams in the Sports Hall facilities. During the accreditation the Head of Delegation has to be ready to
present and deliver the following documents:
- Passports of each member of the team and confirm the birth dates of all gymnasts
- Insurance for each member of the delegation
- National Flag and Anthem
- Two CDs / music file mp3 for each routine with the Country, Category/Age group and Names of the
competitor/s.

16. Orientation Meeting: This information meeting is compulsory for all the team leaders and will be on
Saturday 2nd of March 2013, at 12:30hours. The detailed and updated information about the competition
will be given to all participants.
