protecção de espécies” (“Spatial configurations on the design of ecological
reserves”). Activities: devising combinatorial models of integer programming
with spatial sense, namely connectivity and full species representation.
2002-2003 – member of the research Fisheries Group of project SIAM:” Climatic
Changes in Portugal: Scenarios, Impacts and Adaptation Measures”. Activities:
assess relationships between hydroclimatic events and abundance/ vitality of
selected marine species stocks; outreaching for fisheries stakeholders.
2002 – research cruise “CORRAM.07.02”, on board “N/I Meste Costeiro”.
Activities: cruise preparation, dividing, sampling and identification of collected
planktonic and benthonic fauna accompanying Octopus vulgaris; gathering
hidroclimatic data.
2001 – volunteer collaboration on the C.O.R.R.A.M. project: “Cefalópodes
Octopodídeos – Relação do Recurso com o Ambiente Marinho” (PRAXIS
