Diana Ferreira Oliveira is currently enrolled in the Master’s programme in European
Studies at the University of Minho and holds a BA in International Relations from the
same University. Furthermore, she is collaborating in the Research Unit in Political
Science and International Relations at the University of Minho. She also holds a
research scholarship pertaining to “The European Multilevel Coordination in the Fight
against
Transnational
Terrorism:
the
Cases
of
Portugal
and
Spain”(PTDC/CPO/64365/2006), funded by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia
(Portuguese national science foundation). Her main areas of interest are security
studies, transnational terrorism and EU external and internal security.
