OBJETIVOS GERAIS
O presente Encontro Internacional,
realizado no âmbito do Memorando
constituinte do “Triângulo Atlântico”, celebrado em outubro de 2011
entre o CEPESE – Centro de Estudos
da População, Economia e Sociedade, a FEDERASUR – Federação de
Câmaras de Comércio e Indústria
da América do Sul e um conjunto de
instituições da América Latina, tem
como principais objetivos: analisar o inovador paradigma atual da
segurança e defesa do continente Africano; refletir sobre o papel
das instituições de segurança e em
particular das Forças Armadas em
África; analisar o papel de Angola e
das Forças Armadas Angolanas no
contexto regional securitário Africano; e debater a política externa
brasileira para África.
MAIN GOALS
This international meeting, held
under the “Atlantic Triangle” Memorandum signed in October 2011
by CEPESE – Research Centre for
the Study of Population, Economics and Society, FEDERASUR – Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of South America
and a set of institutions from Latin
America, aims at analysing and
debating the innovative current
paradigm of security and defence
of Africa; the role of security institutions in general and of the armed forces in Africa in particular;
the role of Angola and the Angolan
Armed Forces in Africa’s security
regional context; and the Brazilian
foreign policy towards Africa.
