Inserido na planície, o recém-inaugurado L’AND Vineyards sugere uma experiência única, protagonizada pelo traçado contemporâneo em perfeita harmonia com
a paisagem emoldurada pelas vinhas, o lago e o castelo de Montemor-o-Novo
em pano de fundo. O hotel de cinco estrelas faz parte da cadeia Small Luxury
Hotels of the World e apresenta-se como um wine resort de perfil exclusivo. Ao
impacto inicial sugerido pelo edifício projetado pelo gabinete português Promontório segue-se o cunho inconfundível do brasileiro Marcio Kogan, que assina os
interiores com um toque de tropicalismo contrastado pela iluminação do britânico
Tom Dixon e peças de mobiliário de Vladimir Kagan, Nakashima, Jorge Zalzuspin e
João Pedro Serôdio. >
Oasis in the Alentejo

Found on the plains of the Alentejo, the recently inaugurated L’AND Vineyards
offers a unique experience, dominated by contemporary outlines that blend in
unique harmony with the landscape of rolling vineyards, a lake and the castle of
Montemor-o-Novo rising in the background. The five-star hotel belongs to the
Small Luxury Hotels of the World chain and presents itself as a wine resort with
an exclusive character. The initial impact created by the building designed by the
Portuguese architects studio Promontório is then complemented by the inimitable
style of the Brazilian, Marcio Kogan, who adds a tropical twist that contrasts with
the lighting by the British designer Tom Dixon and pieces of furniture signed by
Vladimir Kagan, Nakashima, Jorge Zalzuspin and João Pedro Serôdio. >

e beleza envolvente. Se optar pela L’AND Sky View Suite poderá disfrutar de um
pátio privado com plunge pool aquecida e um sensacional teto de abertura total
sobre a cama king size, onde adormecer sob o céu estrelado. Já a L’AND View
Suite oferece vistas para as vinhas, um jacuzzi privado e a possibilidade de dois
quartos extra. Ambas as tipologias dispõem de um terraço com lareira e de uma
confortável sala de estar, entre outros detalhes assinaláveis: chão aquecido, iPod,
lençóis de algodão egípcio, iPad, LCD, menu de almofadas e internet gratuita.
Durante a estadia tem à sua disposição atividades para todos os gostos e vontades: poderá visitar o Wine Club e a adega, encomendar uma garrafa de vinho
L’AND com rótulo personalizado, realizar provas e fazer um curso sobre a vinha e
a produção de vinhos, aventurar-se numa viagem de balão, fazer um piquenique
na vinha ou no montado, passear de barco pelo lago Alqueva ou explorar os
tesouros culturais de Évora na companhia de um historiador.
No final do dia, relaxe na piscina ou mergulhe numa viagem visual e olfativa no
L’AND Spa Vinotherapie®, onde o aroma de Fleur de Vigne® se confunde com a
madeira tostada e os óleos essenciais orgânicos. Numa parceria com a Caudalie,

informal. O chefe Miguel Laffan inspira-se na fusão de sabores alentejanos e
mediterrânicos com influências orientais para elaborar propostas baseadas numa
agricultura sustentável recorrendo aos produtores locais de pequenas dimensões.
Interropendo a quase imperturbável aridez da planície, eis a mais apetecível
extravagância alentejana. ::
On the horizon, there are 22 suites offering direct access to the swimming pool,
their discreetly luxurious style being inspired by wood and natural stone, comprising atmospheric spaces of over 100m2, boasting various secluded areas to enjoy
the peace and beauty of the surroundings. Those opting for the L’AND Sky View
Suite can enjoy a private patio with a heated plunge pool and a sensational ceiling
that is totally open to the star-spangled night sky. In contrast, the L’AND View
Suite boasts views over vineyards, a private Jacuzzi and the possibility of two
extra bedrooms. Both suites have a terrace with a fireplace and a comfortable
lounge area, not to mention other special features such as under floor heating, an
iPod, Egyptian cotton sheets, an iPad, LCD, a menu with a range of different pillows
and free internet.
While staying at the hotel, guests may enjoy different activities to suit different tastes; the Wine club and Cellar can be visited, a bottle of L’AND wine with a
personalised label can be ordered, wine tasting can be enjoyed, as can courses on
wine production. Then there are hot air-balloon trips, picnics in the vineyards or
in the cork oak woodlands, boat trips on Lake Alqueva or the cultural treasures of
Évora, which can be enjoyed in the company of a historian.
Towards the end of the day, guests can relax in the pool or indulge in a visual and
olfactory journey with L’AND Spa Vinotherapie®, where the aroma of Fleur de
Vigne® blends with toasted wood and essential organic oils. In partnership with
Caudalie – a brand pioneering the use of hot spring water used with vine and
grape extracts – the Spa offers treatment such as Crushed Cabernet exfoliation,

At dusk, the ambience of the L’AND restaurant transports our imagination to
traditional Roman and Arab homes built around patios, where contemporary
design and informal nature meet. The chef Miguel Laffan receives inspiration from
the fusion of Alentejo and Mediterranean flavours with an oriental twist, lavishing
guests with dishes based on sustainable agriculture through the sourcing of local
products from small-scale producers.
Like a delightful interruption of the seemingly endless dry plains, the Alentejo offers us its most seductive extravagance in the form of this hotel. ::
