Short Biography
Fernando Rei is graduated in Juridical and Social Sciences by the São Paulo University
(1982) and Master Degreed in Communal Law by the Coimbra University (1986).
He is PhD in Fundamental Law by the Madrid Complutense University (1993), in
International Law by the São Paulo University (1998) and in Environmental/State Law by
the Alicante University (1994).
Mr. Rei is Professor at Universitarian Center of SENAC and at Armando Álvares Penteado
Foundation. He is also Coordinator of Environmental Management Course at Campinas
State University.
He is editor of Interface Magazine (ISSN 1980-0894) and member of the Diffuse Rights
Magazine Editorial Council (ISSN 1517-9192) and Bioenergy Brazilian Magazine. He is
also Scientific Director of Environmental International Law Brazilian Society (SBDIMA).
At the present moment, he is Director-President of São Paulo State Environmental Agency,
for the second time.
