passato, infatti è la condizione per la sopravvivenza

L’importanza sempre maggiore di proteggere e conservare l’ambiente in cui viviamo è il principio su cui si basa un impianto
a biogas.
Infatti, attraverso la digestione anaerobica, possiamo valorizzare ciò che adesso viene considerato “scarto”:
• limitando le emissioni in atmosfera di gas serra come la CO2 e il CH4;
• producendo energia “verde”;
E attraverso l’impianto di rimozione nitrati:
• rispettiamo le normative europee (direttiva nitrati).
DIGESTIONE ANAEROBICA

• processo di degradazione batterica di sostanze organiche, in assenza di ossigeno, che porta alla produzione di un gas
costituito da metano ed anidride carbonica (BIOGAS);
• la percentuale di metano nel biogas varia in base al tipo di sostanza organica digerita e delle condizioni di processo, da un
minimo del 55% fino all’80% circa;
• rese di biodegradazione dal 40% al 90%;
• ridotta rimozione di nutrienti (N e P), per sintesi batterica o per precipitazione chimica.
PROCESSI DI DIGESTIONE
• Digestione a secco (dry digestion), quando il substrato alimentato nel digestore ha un contenuto di solidi totali
(TS > 20%);
• Digestione a umido (wet digestion), quando il substrato di alimentazione ha un contenuto di (TS < 10%);
• Digestione a semi-secco (semi-dry digestion), quando il substrato di alimentazione ha un contenuto di
(10% <TS < 20%).
• Digestione MESOFILA, quando la temperatura di esercizio è di circa 35°C.
• Digestione TERMOFILA, quando la temperatura di esercizio è di circa 55°C.
La digestione anaerobica si divide in 4 fasi:
• idrolisi: Reazione enzimatica che produce sostanze solubili metabolizzabili dalla biomassa;
• acidogenesi: processo che trasforma carboidrati e amminoacidi in acido acetico, H2, CO2, acido propionico, butirrico
e valerico;
• acetogenesi: processo che trasforma gli acidi grassi volatili ed a lunga catena ad acido acetico (CH3COOH), CO2 ed
idrogeno;
• metanogenesi: processo che trasforma acido acetico, CO2 ed H2 in metano e anidride carbonica.
La progettazione di un impianto per la produzione di biogas dipende dalla quantità e dalla composizione dei flussi di
alimentazione. Quindi ogni azienda deve essere valutata singolarmente.
