Research and Professional Experience: Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of
University of Coimbra since 2008. Published 40 articles in peer reviewed scientific
journals and 160 papers in proceedings of events. Co-supervised four dissertations in
the area of Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Molecular and Cell Biology,
received 7 awards and honors. The main area of research is Molecular imaging, Cancer
and Biophysics.
