 ZANEC (Zambia National Education Coalition), Vice Chairperson, previously
Thematic Lead for Adult Education
PAF (People’s Action Forum) Executive Director; an adult educator, trainer and
development worker rooted in and committed to social and community
development and social change through participatory approaches.


PAF is a Zambian NGO, focused on adult education in rural communities in 7
Districts. PAF supports poverty reduction in rural households, & improving the
quality of life of rural communities through Non-formal education & Community
action.
At community level PAF works with volunteers to run adult learning circles
promoting critical thinking and learning, and supporting development. PAF
supports provision of basic education through 41 community schools.
Nationally, PAF has contributed to development of adult education policy. In
2008 PAF was awarded UNESCO’s King Sejong Literacy Prize.




