And we would like to count with you and your motorcaravanning friends
We only pretend to gather the highest possible number of motorcaravanners
from the Iberian Peninsula in the city of Braga, though other motorcaravanners from the
rest of Europe are also invited.
Thus, all are welcome, whether affiliated or not, simply united by the ideal of
friendship and companionship, without "fear" of different opinions.
We seek to elaborate a program that embraces us in conviviality with a
stronger bond of friendship and at the same time show the world that we are a force that is
expanding and is here to stay, overcoming all difficulties that we may have.
Let us forget from sterile discussions and lay the foundations of unity, that we
are lacking, to prove that we deserve a little more attention from people who have the
responsibility to create the rules and infrastructure in order that motorcaravanning becomes
a healthy and profitable business for everyone.
In addition to the program, we are also attaching booking forms and all
necessary information.
We would appreciate it if you spread our initiative, you are welcome to
request any other information from our club where we are at your disposal.

INFORMATION
Booking
The Booking Form must be filled up and sent to our office, by mail or e-mail.
If you wish to participate in one of the proposed excursions you must fill in the Excursion
Booking and attach it to the Booking Form.
Payment can be made by check or Bank Transfer, you must, in the latter case, attach a copy of
your Bank Transfer; without it your payment can not be considered.
Upon receipt of these documents we will contact you to send all the necessary documents for
your participation.
Please, note that deadline is 20/03/2009, within that time your Booking Form should have been
in our headquarters.
How to Get There
Your can gain acces to Braga by motorway from the following frontiers of:
Tuy - Valença - A4 (toll charge) or from Vila Nova de Cerveira by the A28 (free) and then the
A11 (toll charge);
Acces by Verin - Chaves - A24 (free) and then the A7 and A11 (toll charge).
Acces by Ciudad Rodrigo - Vilar Formoso - A25 (free) and then A1 and A4 (toll charge).
In Braga enter the Circular Motorway (which surrounds the city) and head towards North Braga
(Braga Norte). Here you exit by road N101, in the direction to “Estádio”, Vila Verde, Ponte da
Barca. After 5 miles exit to “Aeródromo”, “Kartódromo”. From here you will find signals
referring to: I ENCONTRO IBÉRICO DE AUTOCARAVANAS.
If you arrive before the 14:00 hours you will have to look for parking space at Prado.
Welcome
On entering the premises, fellow members of our organization will be responsible to locate
participants in a few minutes. Put on the windshield the electricity label: yellow, with electrictity;
green: without electricity – with your name and Booking Form number.
If you want to stay together with other fellow motorcaravanners, you must all have the same
colour label and come together, the arrengement of places will be as you enter the premises.
There are no reserved places.
The Premises
Kartódromo de Braga (Braga’s Karting place), is next to the airport runway. It is located on
Route N101, in Vila Verde, five kilometers from Braga.
It consists of two areas: the car park and karting track. There is public lighting and the car park
has European standard outlets, voltage 220 (for about 250 motorcaravans).
The entire premises have a flat and firm floor, it has security which bans non authorized
participants. It is perfectly conditioned with the sewerage network for rainwater.

Installations:
At the site there are toilets with hot bath that will support the services that each motorcaravan
has. It also has a self-service restaurant providing meals at an average price of € .10. A tent of
500 m2 will be put up, for easy gathering in the event of rain, and a stage with sound equipment.
Electrical power
Only a part of the site has electrical power 220v. Thus all motorcaravenners that choose to have
mains electricity (maximum of 250 vehicles with outlets of 3 amp each) have designated places
at the premises, while the other parking lot will be installed in the area of Karting.
French style plug

You will need for the supply both types of plug shown above, depending on the location to be
installed. Please, we recommend you to bring both types of mentioned plugs.
The cost of providing electric power is € .10. for each motorcaravan for four days.
Service area
You will have two areas for disposing of Grey Water and Chemical Toilette (Black Water).
We recommend that you service you motorcaravan, if needed, and dispose of Grey and Black
Water before going to your location, you will also find Drinking Water at the same service place.
Motorcaravans
Installation of motorcarvans will be side by side, keeping 2 meters distance between vehicles,
this will allow the extending of awnings and setting of tables and chairs.
For your security, all motorcaravans should be parked with the reverse gear on and the front of
the vehicle facing the exit access.
Visit to Braga
For the trip to Braga there are two buses available for participants that will make round trips to
and from the city center, free of charge during Friday afternoon, the 1st of May. It will also
distribute guides with maps of the city and important information to assist with the visit.

Festival Minho style
As you can see both tours end at SANTOINHO (the red dot on the map) where the festival

notable personalities that, integrated into groups for celebrations or specific actions, or
individually and accompanied with their family, have been there over the years."
Helicopter flight
On Friday from 14 hours and Saturday from 9:00 hours to 12:00 hours you may opt for a
helicopter ride over the Minho region: Braga-Barcelos-Braga. Booking and reservation will take
place at the site, in groups of four people.
