companies never witness a jury trial until they find themselves in a US courtroom — when it
may already be too late to adjust the strategy. This April, Quinn Emanuel brings the US jury
trial to Rio de Janeiro. Our mock trial event — live and unscripted — will demystify the US jury
trial process and prepare you in the event that you become involved in a lawsuit in the US. Our
event will give you a first-person experience of a US jury trial and provide you with the practical
knowledge to help you understand and familiarize yourself with the process. Within half a day,
you will experience a complete trial — there will be a jury, a judge, two lawyers, witnesses,
documentary evidence, and deposition testimony, all based on a “canned” fact situation. You
will observe opening statements, witness examinations, and closing arguments, after which the
jurors will engage in live deliberation and return a final verdict. We hope you will join leaders
