Style
How would you best describe your style? urban, colourful and young, flirting with nostalgic references
Style icons/influences: The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Ryan Gosling, London and Harajuku kids. I love
Rihanna's dirty phase, too
Top three things that define your look? caps, tailored shirts and prints
Top three shopping fixes/stores/online retailers: vintage shop À la Garçonne in São Paulo and Sala de
Estar at Comuna in Rio
Top three brands: in Brazil: AMP, Cotton Project, Caio Braz Casa de Modas, Alexandre Herchcovitch
and Vish. Around the world: I love everything from Givenchy, Comme des Garçons and Jeremy Scott
Basic you can't live without: chinos
Favourite item in your wardrobe: Timberland caramel boots
In your opinion do you have to have money to have style? never. You have to have style to spend less
money

Lifestyle
Favourite bands/musicians right now: I like everything: indie, rock, pop, brega, gospel, classic, electro.
Just to mention some artists: SILVA (Lucio Souza), Banda Uó and Mallu Magalhães
Must-see blogs/websites: I'm addicted to Pinterest and funny Tumblrs I find every day on the internet
Must-view magazines: Monocle. I'd rather read about geopolitics than fashion
Inspirational artists: Marina Abramović is the Queen. Period
Top things that would improve your life: having a beach in São Paulo would make me happier
Habits you'd like to lose: Sleeping too late
Events that you look forward to in 2013: my brand Caio Braz Casa de Modas conquering Brazil, all the
trips I'm going to do - Coachella, Mauritius, Mexico - the death of Facebook. Young people visiting their
friends without previous notice, like it used to be way back when
Describe a typical day or weekend for you: all my days are very different. I'm in a different city every
week, sometimes working, attending events, DJing or just having fun and relaxing. Not having a routine
and life in a suitcase can be as stressful as everyday office work
Favourite hangouts in São Paulo by day: Galeria do Rock, Mercadão city market and the Japanese
neighborhood, Liberdade
Favourite hangouts in São Paulo by night: Cine Joia, Studio SP, SESC Pompeia
Perfect night out: Javali and Sem Loção parties, a mix of Brazilian music and hits from the 1980s, 1990s
and today. All the style tribes get together for these parties
Worst night out: anything in the Vila Olímpia neighborhood
What do you keep with you in your bag? laptop, cellphones, magazines and a Polaroid camera
If you could live in any era what would it be? I would like to be my age in the 1980s in the United States,
discovering the technological advances
What do you love about São Paulo? professionalism
What do you hate about São Paulo? high prices
What's the best about being young? good skin, being able to wear anything, not needing (yet) to be taken
seriously
And what is the worst? anxiety for personal fulfillment, which is something that comes only with time
