Regra geral:
Se a declaração for afirmativa, a question
tag será interrogativa/negativa.

Se a declaração for negativa, a question
tag será interrogativa/afirmativa.

Afirmativa...,inter/negativa
 They work here, don’t they?
 She is beautiful, isn’t she?

 Há que se distinguir, inicialmente, dois tipos
de sentenças:
1. Com verbo auxiliar;
2. Sem verbo auxiliar.
Question Tag

Em sentenças formadas com verbo
auxiliar (am, are, is, was, will, would, could,
etc.) a Question Tag é feita com os próprios
auxiliares.
2.
Em sentenças sem o verbo auxiliar, a
Question Tag será iniciada pelos verbos
auxiliares do, does ou did, dependendo do
tempo do verbo da declaração feita.

Never, hardly, scarcely, nothing, nobody, no one,
little, etc. tornam a sentença negativa,
consequentemente, a question tag ficará
afirmativa.

Quando o sujeito for ‘Nothing’ e ‘No’ o pronome do
caso reto (it) será utilizado na question tag.
