No.2 (2012)

Experimental Poetics and Aesthetics No.2 integrates a variety of essays and critical reflections on classic and
contemporary experimental artists and modalities. Some studies deal with known poets such as Vigo in “Vigo
organizador de la Expo Internacional Novísima Poesía/69 (CAV-ITDT, 1969): materialización del
intercambio y relaciones posibles con el concretismo” by Ornela Soledad Barisone, or known movements
such as Fluxus in Luc Fierens “Ho nascosto il fantasma di Duchamp sotto la colla”. Other essays bring light
to specific practices such as Mail Art in “Xerografia: Un recurso del Arte Postal en tiempos de la
Globalización” by Hugo Pontes and Electronic Poetry in “Jorge Luiz Antonio é a maior referência da tecnoarte-poesia no Brasil ” by Marcio Almeida on the work of Jorge Luiz Antonio, considered one of the best
researchers in this field, and the main analyst on electronic poetry, which is already a 53 years old practice.
Also relevant is Marcio Almeida’s 56 pages document "1er Simposio Virtual de Poesia" which consists of a
series of critical reflections by representative Brazilian authors. The artists and critics who participate in this
open discussion on digital culture, cyberpoetry, electronics, etc., are the following: Dênis de Moraes, Ary
