RESUMO
Este Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como finalidade, identificar os cuidados de
enfermagem no paciente cirúrgico, utilizando a SAE para proporcionar o seu devido
atendimento desde a internação até a alta hospitalar, visando o seu bem estar físico e
emocional. A sistematização da assistência de enfermagem implica na utilização de uma
metodologia de trabalho, qualquer que seja o referencial teórico utilizado, e requer do
enfermeiro interesse em conhecer o paciente como individuo, utilizando para isto seus
conhecimentos e habilidades, além de orientação e treinamento da equipe de enfermagem
para a implementação das ações sistematizadas. Para atender os objetivos deste estudo
realizou-se um levantamento de dados da literatura no Scientific Eletronic Library On Line
(Sciello), Biblioteca Regional de Medicina (Bireme) no período de 1996 a 2006. O
planejamento da assistência de enfermagem no período perioperatório proporcionará uma
assistência integral e individualizada para o paciente cirúrgico e sua família, possibilitando
a implementação de intervenções que atendam às reais necessidades do paciente,
minimizando sua ansiedade e os riscos inerentes ao procedimento anestésico cirúrgico. Ao
analisarmos os diagnósticos evidenciados neste estudo, entendemos que o paciente
cirúrgico apresenta ansiedade devido à situação nova em que se encontra. Compete à
enfermagem ajudá-lo a desenvolver mecanismos de enfrentamento. Em relação aos
diagnósticos, risco para infecção e risco para lesão por posicionamento perioperatório,
compreendemos a necessidade de revermos determinadas rotinas e estabelecermos medidas
de prevenção e controle dessas complicações. Salientamos, ainda, a necessidade de preparar
o paciente e seus familiares na identificação da dor e as medidas que poderão minimizá-la,
principalmente no domicílio.

ABSTRACT
Nursing assistance in the surgical patient.
This Work of Conclusion of Course has as purpose, to identify the cares of nursing in the
surgical patient, using the SAE to provide its due attendance since the high internment until
the hospital one, aiming at its welfare emotional physicist and. The systematization of the
nursing assistance implies in the use of a methodology of work, any that is the used
theoretical referential, and requires of the nurse interest in knowing the patient as
individual, using for this its knowledge and abilities, beyond orientation and training of the
team of nursing for the implementation of the systemize actions. To take care of the
objectives of this study a data-collecting of literature in Scientific Eletronic Library on Line
(Sciello), Regional Library of Medicine (Bireme) in the period of 1996 a 2006. The
planning of the assistance of nursing in the period will provide to an integral and
individualized assistance for the surgical patient and its family, making possible the
implementation of interventions that take care of to the real necessities of the patient,
minimizing its the inherent anxiety and risks to the procedure surgical anesthetics. When
analyzing the diagnostic evidenced in this study, we understand that the surgical patient
presents anxiety due to new situation where if she finds. It competes to the nursing helping
it to develop it confrontation mechanisms. In relation to the diagnostic, risk for infection
and risk for injury for perioperatório positioning, we understand the necessity to review
definitive routines and to establish measured of prevention and control of these
complications. We point out, still, the necessity to mainly prepare the patient and the its
familiar in the identification of pain and measures that will be able to minimize it, in the
domicile.
