O território de Loures acolhe um conjunto de
tradições fortemente enraizadas nas práticas associadas à agricultura. A fertilidade
das nossas terras fez com que, em tempos
idos, os homens e mulheres de Loures que
trabalhavam a terrra se tornassem nos
principais abastecedores de mercadorias
hortícolas da cidade de Lisboa.
The territory of Loures hosts a set of deeply
rooted traditions in practices associated with
agriculture. The fertility of our lands made
the products created here, in bygone days,
became the main suppliers of horticultural
commodities in Lisbon.
Dates back to that time the name “saloio”, in
order to identify the inhabitants of the suburbs, the peasants who worked the land.
The saloios from Loures commuted to the
city, not only to sell their products – cabbages, watercress, bread, milk, cheese, etc. –
but also to sell crystal water of sources, and
deliver laundry in the streams that flowed,
pure, the fields of the region.
Remonta a essa época a designação de “saloio” para identificar o habitante dos arrabaldes, o camponês que trabalhava a terra.
Os saloios de Loures deslocavam-se à cidade
não só para vender os seus produtos – couves, agriões, pão, leite, queijos, etc. – mas
também para vender água cristalina das
fontes e entregar roupa lavada nos ribeiros
que corriam, puros, pelos campos da região.
On the other hand, the Lisboners came to
Loures for picnicking, and enjoying the good
country air, as well as the pleasures of socializing with nature, watching the trees and
the animals, enjoyed a good day in a country
setting, bucolic environment. They admired
the watercourses and its clear and bright
springs, enjoyed the beautiful gardens and
magnificient water mills and wind so characteristic.
Por seu lado, os lisboetas vinham a Loures
para fazer piqueniques, e aproveitavam o
bom ar do campo, desfrutavam os prazeres
do convívio com a natureza, observavam as
árvores e os animais, gozavam um dia bem
passado num ambiente campestre e bucólico, admiravam os cursos de água e as suas
nascentes límpidas e brilhantes, apreciavam as belas hortas e os magníficos moinhos de água e de vento tão característicos.
Nowadays, the landscape of Loures displays
marks of transformation in the social level
and in the occupation of the countryside. The
increasing of mobility of people and ways of
being originated profound changes in the
landscape and new forms of relationships
with the territory have emerged. Farming
no longer occupies the majority of the population and the fields, worked before, have
other destinations and uses.
Hoje, a paisagem de Loures exibe marcas
de transformações no tecido social e na ocupação do território rural. A mobilidade crescente de pessoas e formas de estar originou
profundas transformações na paisagem, e
surgiram novas formas de relacionamento com o território. A atividade agrícola não
ocupa já a maioria da população, e os campos, antes trabalhados, têm outros destinos
e usos.

Mas, ao mesmo tempo que as características primordiais de cada paisagem se vão
desvanecendo, vai aumentando o interesse
e a procura desta mesma paisagem rural
por outros utilizadores, que não a comunidade que nela vive ou viveu.
At the same time as the primary characteristics of each landscape will be fading, it
grows the interest and demand for this same
countryside by other users, not by the community that it lives or lived.
The rurality has been the area where actually many people try to find shelter and rebuild their roots and identity values.
A ruralidade tem sido o espaço onde hoje
muitos procuram encontrar um abrigo de
valores seguros e onde reconstroem as suas
raízes e identidade.
The ethnic and cultural diversity is a real
phenomenon faced by schools, from the
major urban centres of today, and to which
schools of Loures are not unrelated.
A diversidade étnica e cultural é, pois, um
fenómeno real com que se defrontam as
escolas dos grandes centros urbanos, e às
quais as escolas de Loures não são alheias.
At Loures Municipality, the Multidisciplinary Team of Economic Activities, Tourism and
Promotion of Employment, in close cooperation with the other partners of the project, intends to prepare students for a future based on creativity and transdisciplinary
sustainable, and harmonious local development, preserving local identities, economic systems and ecological balance with the
future perspective of building a sustainable
territory at Loures Municipality, with citizens
who respect and defend their territory.
No Município de Loures, a Equipa Multidisciplinar de Desenvolvimento Económico, Turismo e Promoção do Emprego, em estreita
colaboração com os restantes parceiros do
projeto, pretende preparar os estudantes
para um futuro baseado na criatividade e
transdisciplinaridade sustentável e no desenvolvimento local harmonioso, preservando as identidades locais, os sistemas
económicos e o equilíbrio ecológico.
Todo o trabalho desenvolvido pelo Município
de Loures é perspetivado tendo em vista a
construção de um território sustentável com
cidadãos que respeitem e defendam este
mesmo território.
The Enraiz’art educational project aims to
strengthen the relationship between the
school and the community as a whole, with
reference to the tradition linked to the local
culture, collective and individual memory,
as well as material objects which call that
memory.
O projeto educativo Enraiz’arte pretende reforçar a relação entre a escola no seu todo
e a comunidade, tomando como referência
a tradição ligada à cultura local, a memória
coletiva e individual, assim como os objetos
materiais que convocam essa memória.

Pazardzhik situa-se no centro sul da Bulgária, na parte ocidental do Vale Superior,
fronteira com os distritos de Blagoevgrad,
Plovdiv, Smolyan e Sofia. O distrito inclui
partes dos campos Pazardzhik e Plovdiv,
partes dos Rhodopes Ocidentais, Rila e Floresta Central.
Pazardzhik is situated in central southern
Bulgaria, in the western part of the Upper
Valley, bordered by the districts of Blagoevgrad, Plovdiv, Smolyan and Sofia. The district includes parts of Pazardzhik and Plovdiv fields, parts of Western Rhodopes, Rila
and Central forest.
Pazardzhik é uma região agrícola e industrialmente desenvolvida, sendo igualmente
rica em recursos hídricos.
Pazardzhik is well developed agricultural
and industrial region. The region is rich in
water resources.
O rio Maritsa é o principal rio de Pazardzhik,
e nas suas margens, bem como nas dos seus
afluentes, existem extensos campos férteis.
Esta região tem ainda várias barragens e
grandes prados.
On both sides of the Maritsa River and its
tributaries, Topolnitsa and Luda Yana Razprostrirat, there are fertile fields. There are
also many dams, like Batak Beglika, as well
as wide meadow in Toshkov Mountains and
Belmeken.
As cidades de Velingrad, Bratsigovo e Kostandovo e a vila de Varvara são conhecidas
pela riqueza das suas fontes termais minerais. É neste cenário idílico, composto por
muitos rios, lagos e fontes, que se alicerça
o desenvolvimento rural e o incremento do
ecoturismo na região.
In regions of the towns of Velingrad, Bratsigovo Kostandovo and villages of Varvara
and Bath there are many mineral thermal
springs. Beautiful scenery, many rivers,
lakes and springs contributes to the rural
development of mountains, rural and eco-tourism in the region.
A região de Pazardzhik é, igualmente, rica
em monumentos históricos e culturais. O
passado histórico tem, também aqui, um
grande peso cultural. O território mantém
preservada a memória dos Trácios, Romanos, Eslavos, Bizantinos, Turcos e Búlgaros.
É possível visitar estações arqueológicas em
recuperação e aldeias medievais do período
Trácio.
Pazardzhik region also abounds in cultural
and historical monuments. The land here
still keeps the memory of the Thracians, Romans, Slavs and Bulgars, Byzantines, Turks
and Bulgarians. Recovered remains of Thracian settlement, Besapara fortress, Tsepina
medieval villages and more.

At Bulgaria the Regional Inspection of Education – Pazardzhik, while local authority that realizes the national policy on local
education, ensures in collaboration with the
other partners the development of the project goals.
Na Bulgária, a Inspeção Regional de Educação de Pazardzhik, enquanto autoridade
local que concretiza a política nacional em
matéria de educação, assegura, em estreita colaboração com os restantes parceiros,
o desenvolvimento dos objetivos do projeto
Enraiz’arte.
Through the participation in this project, the
institution intends that students know the
past of the region and, with this acquired
knowledge, build a bridge to the future, within the entreprenership education.
Com a participação neste projeto, a instituição pretende que os alunos conheçam
o passado da região e construam, através
deste conhecimento, uma ponte para o futuro, no âmbito da educação para o empreendedorismo.

Pretende-se que cada aluno desenvolva um
processo de aprendizagem alicerçado nas
características da sua comunidade e nas
suas próprias características pessoais.
It is intended that each student develops a
process of learning through the characteristics of their community and their own personal traits, content and learning objectives.
Ao desenvolver e coordenar este projeto,
o Município de Loures proporciona aos estudantes (3º e 4º anos do 1º ciclo do ensino
básico) a oportunidade de melhor compreender a sua comunidade, estimulando a
participação, a tomada de decisões, e encorajando professores e alunos a melhorar
a aprendizagem ativa, a questionar, a estarem abertos à mudança e a preparar as
crianças para um futuro sustentável. Este
projeto possibilita o fortalecimento do relacionamento entre a escola e a comunidade,
tendo como referência um conjunto de tradições ligado à sua própria cultura (eminentemente agrícola), à memória coletiva e individual, bem como a objetos materiais que
apelam a essa memória, contribuindo para
uma educação que conduza à criação e recuperação da identidade cultural local.
The Municipality of Loures, developing and
coordinating this project, will provide opportunities for students (from 3rd to 4th grade)
in order to understand better their community, encouraging participation, decision making and encouraging teachers,
as well as students to improve active learning, inquiring, to be open to change and
to prepare children for a sustainable future.
The present educational project proposes
to implement plans to strengthen the relationship between the school and the community, taking as a reference the tradition
linked to their own culture (agricultural), the
collective and individual memory, and the
material objects that appeal to that memory,
contributing to an education leading to the
creation and recovery of the local cultural
identity.
O projeto Enraiz’Arte pressupõe a criação
de “raízes” com o território e com os traços
culturais da comunidade, a partir da descoberta da sua história, saberes populares e
património rural, material e imaterial, com
especial atenção para a área da agricultura.
The enraiz’art project aims the creation of
“roots” with the territory and cultural features of the community, from the discovery
of its history, popular knowledge, and rural
material as well as immaterial heritage, with
special attention to the area of agriculture.
