Innovating Partners
With the support of the renowned British institutions and Trade Associations who we have
worked with, Innovating Portugal reached senior people at decision-making levels from
both business communities in Portugal and the UK.
Innovating Portugal was remarkable for its message, for the companies that it brought
together and for the partnerships created.

First Year’s Assessment
1. The programme impacts on three levels of awareness:
• Participating Portuguese and British companies
• Non-participating British companies that showed
interest in more information on Portugal and its
companies
• British companies that did not show interest in Portugal
but received, on a monthly basis, information on the
activities of the Agency
2. The programme fosters links between Portuguese and
British businesses;
3. The programme allows for closer links with the main British
Associations, creating new opportunities for Portugal, the UK,
their companies and other public/private bodies.
