Prep 2 visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of our new IPC topic ´Paintings, Pictures and Photographs’, all Prep 2 pupils will
be going on an exciting trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art. During the visit, they
will have a chance to look at paintings from one of the largest and most comprehensive
collections of 20th Century Western art work in Latin America.
All pupils will carry out the same programme of activities whilst they are at the museum
regardless of the day they visit. The dates for the trip are as follows:
Prep 2K - 14th October 2014
Prep 2M - 17th October 2014
Prep 2L and 2N - 22nd October 2014
We will leave school at 9:15 am in order to arrive at the museum for 10 am. The visit will
last until 11:30 am; we will then have lunch and return back to school by approximately
13:00. All pupils will be provided with a lunch box but will need to remember to bring
their own morning snack to school. Pupils should come to school wearing their PE kit (not
other casual clothes) and can remain in it for the entire day. Please ensure that your child
does not bring anything else with them for the trip – they will not need any money or a
camera.
In order for your child to go on the museum visit, please sign and return the permission
slip below to your child´s class teacher, no later than Monday 13th October 2014.
