NORMAS PARA SUBMISSÃO
+ É uma condição para publicação do manuscrito submetido que o mesmo seja original. Com o
ideal transcultural em vista neste periódico, os textos podem ser redigidos em três línguas:
Português, Espanhol e Inglês.
+ O processo editorial só terá início se o encaminhamento do manuscrito obedecer às
condições abaixo. Caso contrário será devolvido para adequação às normas.
+ Transcultural adopta as normas de publicação da APA, segundo o "Publication Manual of
the American Psychological Association (6ª edição, 2010)". Qualquer omissão de informação
nas seguintes instruções implica que prevalece a orientação da APA.
+ Os textos deverão ser submetidos exclusivamente via internet. Ver “Diretrizes para
Submissão” no final deste documento.
Diretrizes Gerais do Manuscrito
Os manuscritos para submissão deverão estar em formato Word (.doc) e não deverão exceder
o número máximo de páginas indicado para cada tipo de manuscrito (incluindo Resumo,
Abstract, Figuras, Tabelas, Anexos e Referências, além do corpo do texto) que seriam:
Artigos (15-25 páginas): investigações empíricas baseadas em metodologias diversas
Resenhas e Casos Clínicos (3-10 páginas): revisão crítica de obras nacionais ou estrangeiras, de
forma a clarificar conceitos ou metodologias quanto a suas características e usos potenciais.
Apresentação de casos clínicos estruturados.
Diretrizes de Formatação
+ Papel tamanho A4 (21 x 29.7cm), com margens 2.5 cm em todos os lados. Fonte Times New
Roman, tamanho 12, ao longo de todo o texto, incluindo referências, notas de rodapé, tabelas,
etc.

+ O espaçamento deve ser duplo ao longo de todo o manuscrito, incluindo Folha de Rosto,
Resumo, Corpo do Texto, Referências, Anexos, etc. Alinhamento deve ser justificado com
recuo da primeira linha do parágrafo: tab = 1.25cm.
+ Ordem dos elementos do manuscrito: Folha de rosto identificada (todos os autores com
morada e e-mail), Folha de rosto sem identificação (com título na língua escolhida e em inglês),
Resumo e Abstract (com no máximo 250 palavras), Corpo do Texto, Referências, Anexos, Notas
de Rodapé, Tabelas e Figuras. Inicie cada um deles em uma nova página.
+ As referências das citações apresentadas no decorrer do texto devem ser apresentadas na
secção "Referências", obedecendo às Normas de Publicação da APA. Note que, ao contrário do
que é pedido para o restante texto, as referências devem apresentar uma indentação, não de
primeira linha, mas sim pendente a 1 cm. Utilize o “Publication Manual of the American
Psychological Association” (2010, 6ª edição) para verificar as normas não mencionadas nos
seguintes exemplos:

GUIDELINES
+ Only original manuscripts are accepted. Following the cross-cultural idea of the Journal,
manuscripts can be written in one of three languages: Portuguese, Spanish and English.
+ The editorial process will begin only if the manuscripts respect the following conditions.
Otherwise it will be returned to norms adequacy.
+ Transcultural adopts APA guidelines for submission of manuscripts from the "Publication
Manual of the American Psychological Association (6th edition, 2010)". Any omission of
information on the following instructions implies the prevalence of APA orientation.
+ The manuscripts should be submitted exclusively by internet. See “Submission process” at
the end of this document.
General Guidelines
The manuscripts need to be a Word document (.doc) and should not exceed the maximum of
page numbers for each kind of manuscript (including Abstract, Figures, Tables, Attachments,
and References):
Papers (15-25 pages): empirical researches based on various methods.
Reviews and Clinical Cases (3-10 pages): critical review of national and foreign work in a way to
clarify concepts or methods about its specificities and potential use. Structured clinical cases
can be presented.
Style and Layout
+ Manuscript page A4 (21 x 29.7cm) with a margin of 2.5 cm on all sides. Times New Roman
font, size 12 all over the manuscript including references, footnotes, tables, etc.
+ Double-spaced pages including title page, abstract, the body of the manuscript, references,
figures and tables. Justified alignment with tab at the first line of paragraph: tab = 1.25cm.

+ Order of the manuscript elements: Identified title page (all authors with affiliation, address
and e-mail), Unidentified title page (with title in the chosen language and in English), Abstract
(up to 250 words), Body of the manuscript, References, Footnotes, Tables and Figures. Begin
each element in a new page.
+ References of citations presented in the text should appear in “References” as following the
APA Publication Manual. Note that the References, differently from the other parts of the
manuscript, should present an indentation not at the first line but pending 1cm. Use the
“Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association” (2010, 6th edition) to verify the
rules not mentioned at the following examples:
