Oil&Gas Industry
The presentations took place in the main auditorium (São Pedro da Aldeia). The
main presentations were open to all. Simultaneous translation facilities as well
as dual language (Portuguese and English) presentations and handouts were
available. Attendees were able to ask questions if they wish, although the
principal forum for discussion were the technical sessions.
While the presentations covered all relevant concepts for those companies that
did not participate in Brasil Rounds 1, 2 & 3, the focus was on the progress that
has been made over the past year, addressing issues of special interest to the
companies.
Breakout Sessions (round tables)
There were be several "Breakout Sessions", lasting up to 60 minutes for each
subject area. These sessions were scheduled to take place after the main
presentation on each subject. The objective was to allow the attendees to
discuss and clarify points of interest with the ANP representatives. These
sessions were limited to 20-25 persons in order to make them as interactive and
productive as possible.
Technical Workshops
The Technical Workshop Sessions took place during the morning and afternoon
on both days.
In each session, ANP representatives made a presentation on each Basin
lasting up to 30 minutes, including the logic behind the Minimum Exploratory
Program for the Blocks to be licensed. Simultaneous translation facilities as well
as dual language (Portuguese and English) presentations were available,
followed by an interactive session dependent upon the attendees' contribution.
Each session took up to approximately 50 people and each Basin was
presented once. ANP technical personnel were also available to answer
questions and display data on interactive workstations.
