RESUMO
As alterações que ocorrem em nível celular são modificações que as células sofrem
em suas estruturas, morfologia e função, devido a diversos tipos de stress a que elas
estão sujeitas. O estudo dessas alterações celulares é de grande importância para
compreendermos a base de todas as doenças e de como está o organismo, entretanto
é necessário conhecer quais são e o que causam essas alterações e de como essas
alterações ou lesões celulares são percebidas. O objetivo do presente trabalho é
justamente conhecer melhor as células, suas estruturas e funcionamento e todas as
causas dessas alterações bem como as estruturas celulares geralmente prejudicadas
e suas consequências para o organismo. A pesquisa foi feita por meio de obras já
publicadas de importantes autores como Junqueira e Carneiro no campo da biologia
celular e molecular, Guyton e Hall sobre fisiologia e Kummar et al., sobre as bases
patológicas das doenças entre outros renomados autores sobre o assunto. Portanto, o
entendimento sobre as células e dos agentes que prejudicam as funções celulares,
ajuda a relacionar o modo de vida com essas minúsculas unidades vivas que realizam
todas as funções vitais.

ABSTRACT
Changes that occur at the cellular level are changes that cells undergo in their
structures, morphology and function due to various types of stress to which they are
subject. The study of these cellular changes is of great importance to understand the
basis of all diseases and how the body is, however it is necessary to know which are
and which cause these changes and how these changes are perceived or cellular
injury. The objective of this study is to better understand the cell, its structures and
functioning and all the causes of these changes and the cellular structures usually
damaged and its consequences for the organism. The research was done by means of
published works by leading writers Junqueira and Carneiro in the field of cellular and
molecular biology, Guyton and Hall on physiology and kummar et al., On the
pathological basis of diseases and other renowned authors on the subject. Therefore,
the understanding of cells and agents that impair cell function, helps to relate the way
of life with these tiny living units that perform all vital functions.
