Welcome to Évora! We are glad you’re going to stay with us for your
Erasmus experience. To make that experience even better we’ll try to help
you with one of the most important things, your future house. Be aware
that most part of the houses in the center are very old and small so
probably you’ll not like them at the first impression.
Évora is a small town so you can go almost everywhere by foot. When
we say the house is near Colégio do Espirito Santo (an example) that
doesn’t mean it’s far from other places. You can make your own research.
In this list we have some houses who accept Erasmus students. Since the
landlords in the center usually don’t speak english very well
the most
part don’t accept foreign people.
If you speak or understand portuguese it will be easier for you to make
the contacts and find a house. You can also check our Academic
Association (AAUE) list in their website for more hypotheses. If you don’t,
don’t worry we will help you out!
If you’ll have classes at Mitra don’t worry, there will be university buses
that take you there.
Be aware: all the prices shown are per month, when we say “expenses”
we are talking about water, electricity, gas and internet.
- Don’t worry if you landlord doesn’t speak english; we will help you
with that.
