SHORTBIO
Actually, Dr. Prazeres is a Post Doctoral Researcher at Insight Centre for Data
Analytics (former DERI) at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUI
Galway).PrazeresisalsoanassistantprofessorintheWeb/Multimediaareaat
Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) since 2010, where he leads research
activitiesandprojects,teachesunder-graduateandpost-graduatecourses,andis
advisor for Ph.D, M.Sc. and B.Sc. students. He holds a PhD degree in Computer
Science from University of São Paulo (USP). He has several publications in
international conferences and journals. He is member of ACM SIGWEB, and
member of W3C Web of Things Community Group. Prazeres is also member of
theSpecialCommitteeonMultimediaandtheWeb(WebMedia-CE)atBrazilian
Computer Society (SBC). He is interested in research involving topics of Web
Services and the Semantic Web, Internet of Things, Web of Things and Web of
Data.HeisalsointerestedontheuseofsemanticsinUbiquitousComputingand
DocumentEngineering.PrazereshavecoordinatedprojectsintheInternet/Web
