Main Scholarship requirements – Applicant:
Principais Requesitos dos candidatos (as):
1.
Must be a legal child or grandchild of Portuguese descent
who is a paid PASA member, in good standing, for at least
the past two full consecutive calendar years.

Must be an accepted student to an accredited College or
University.
2.
Aceite numa universidade ou instituição de ensino superior.
3.
Demonstrar valores mínimos de 3.0 GPA (grade point
average).
4.
Desempenhar 20 horas de serviço para PASA (Portuguese
American Suncoast Association), as quais devem ser
completadas durante os anos de liceu e antes submeter o
formulário.
5.
Formulários devem ser selados pelo correio com data até 30
de Abril. A bolsa será entregue no “Dia de Portugal” na festa
de Junho na PASA.
3.
Must carry a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application
submittal.
4.
Must perform 20 hours of service to the Portuguese
American Suncoast Association, which shall be completed
during high school years and prior to submitting application.
5.
Scholarship applications and materials shall be postmarked
by April 30th and award presented at the yearly “Day in
Portugal” celebration the following June.
