Coro de Câmara Harvestehuder realiza
seis apresentações no Brasil
O Coro de Câmara Harvestehuder, de Hamburgo, fará seis apresentações no
Brasil neste mês.
A turnê está sendo iniciada em Paraty, no estado do Rio de Janeiro, neste dia 6 de
março. Também estão programadas apresentações em São Paulo e no Rio de
Janeiro. O encerramento ocorrerá em Petrópolis, na região serrana fluminense.
Na programação do grupo formado por 35 participantes e dirigido pelo maestro
Claus Bantzer, há composições de Bach, Whitacre e Villa-Lobos.
Todas as performances terão entrada gratuita.

DAAD visitará o Amapá. No dia 12 de março, Betina
Soares, do escritório Regional no Rio de Janeiro,
realizará palestra sobre o programa Ciência sem
Fronteiras na Universidade Federal do Amapá (Unifap).
Os estudantes das demais universidades de Macapá estão convidados para tirar
dúvidas e ouvir sobre as oportunidades nas universidades alemãs.
Em março, o DAAD também realizará palestras no estado do Pará e na Bahia.
Betina Soares visitará ainda: a Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), em Belém,
no dia 11; a Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (Ufopa), em Santarém, no dia
14; a Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), em Salvador, no dia 24; a
Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC), em Ilhéus, dia 26.
Raquel Alves dos Santos, do Centro de Informações do DAAD em São Paulo, fará
palestras no SENAI-CIMATEC, em Salvador, em 24 de março, na Universidade
Estadual de Feira de Santana, no dia 26 e na Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste
da Bahia (UESB), em Vitória da Conquista, no dia 28.

O DAAD estará presente na EduExpo 2014 nas cidades

Estudar e Pesquisar na Alemanha
Mais de 150 estudantes presentes nas
atividades do DAAD em São Paulo
Em paralelo ao Túnel da Ciência, exposição científica
realizada em São Paulo que recebeu mais de 39 mil
visitantes em 24 dias do mês de fevereiro
(www.tuneldaciencia.com.br), o DAAD organizou a
sessão Estudar e Pesquisar na Alemanha –
Programas de Bolsas e Fomento no dia 13 de
fevereiro. Mais de 150 estudantes de ensino médio, graduandos, mestrandos,
doutorandos, cientistas e gestores de ensino e pesquisa lotaram o auditório do
Pergamon Hotel para assistir às palestras de representantes de universides e de
agências de fomento.
A mesa de abertura contou com a participação da coordenadora geral de
Cooperação Internacional do CNPq, Fátima Battaglin, do diretor do escritório da
Sociedade Max Planck para a América Latina, Dr. Andreas Trepte, do
representante acadêmico da DFG, Prof. Helmut Galle e do diretor do DAAD no
Brasil, Christian Müller. O tema tratado foi a importância das cooperações e do
intercâmbio acadêmico entre Brasil e Alemanha.

BalticNet-PlasmaTec, com apoio do Ministério da
Educação e Pesquisa da Alemanha (BMBF), o
workshop tratará sobre os mais recentes avanços para
uso do plasma como revestimentos (revestimentos de baixo atrito, revestimentos
rígidos, revestimentos funcionais), processos ambientais (purificação de resíduos
do ar à base de plasma, limpeza da água, desperdício de energia) e tecnologia de
alimentos (descontaminação e extensão da vida de prateleira).
O workshop, em inglês, será no Parque Balneário Hotel (Av. Ana Costa, 555, Praia
do Gonzaga).

students may study the entire second semester at Kingston University in London or
at the Polytechnic of Namibia. The 15-month programme is especially designed for
English speaking students with a successfully completed undergraduate degree and
at least one year of work experience.
Master Chinese-European Economics and Business Studies - This full-time
programme addresses applicants who have a particular interest in the field of the
rapidly growing Chinese-European economic and business relations. Participants
will acquire a good base of knowledge in economics and business, as well as in the
specific cultural and political foundations of China and Europe. The programme
comprehends four terms of study, including a compulsory semester at the
Southwestern University of Finance and Economics/SWUFE in Chengdu. Students

Freie Universität Berlin International
Summer and Winter University (FUBiS)
FUBiS is an intensive academic program through which
students can earn credits that may be counted toward
their degrees at their home institutions. FUBiS sessions
run for 3 to 6 weeks and take place both in summer and
winter.
The FUBiS summer program 2014 takes place in two
terms:

FUBiS term II:
May 31 - July 12, 2014
•
FUBiS term III:
July 19 - August 16, 2014
(6 weeks)
(4 weeks)
Each term may be taken separately. Students can choose between subject
courses (mostly taught in English) and German language courses.
The subject courses are offered within the fields of Architecture, Art history,
Politics, Humanities, Social Sciences, Cultural Studies, History, and Music. The
subject courses may be combined with a semi-intensive German language course.
The German language courses are offered on up to five different levels of
proficiency and take place as semi-intensive (3 days per week) or intensive (5 days
per week) classes. The semi-intensive courses may be combined with a subject
course.
Study visits within Berlin are an integral part of all our courses. In addition, FUBiS
offers field trips to the Berlin Reichstag and a River Boat Tour through Downtown
Berlin as well as day and weekend trips to Weimar, Dresden, and Hamburg.
