Resumo
O objetivo central do presente trabalho é desvendar a cadeia produtiva têxtil e a
geografia do trabalho, especificamente as relações de trabalho na indústria têxtil, as
negociações com os fornecedores de matéria-prima e dos insumos, a área de
produção, como circula o capital- mercadoria, os linkages, a montante e a jusante e
finalmente as relações de trabalho na indústria têxtil, usando o estudo de caso da
Fiação Ceará. (Re)construindo o objeto a partir da experiência imediata (conhecimento
empírico) e de sua crítica teórica, tomando a indústria têxtil como particularidade,
traçar-se a sua espacialização. Relata-se as modernizações tecnológicas, a relação
com a Política da Qualidade, benefícios sociais, enfim as estratégias do capital para
obtenção de melhor produtividade. Mostrar-se-á evolução da indústria têxtil no Ceará.
Perante um ambiente de concorrência crescente e diferenciada na sua forma, as
empresas têm sido condicionadas no sentido de implementarem profundas
reestruturações internas e de alterarem muito de seus objetivos estratégicos.
Contudo, o trabalhador da indústria têxtil do Ceará, está longe de conseguir
melhorias, pois não é valorizado em seus salários. No seu dia-a-dia é violentado em
suas características
pessoais e naturais, sendo obrigado a seguir normas e procedimentos fora de seu
contexto social. Além disso, ocorre elevada rotatividade neste "tradicional ramo
industrial" indo de
encontro à tentativa do capital têxtil de acumular experiência na sua força de trabalho.
O processo de produção na indústria têxtil cearense é multiforme, no que diz
respeito ao seu modo de regulação. São formas anõmalas. Neste setor industrial se
busca privilegiar o modo de regulação fordista, indo até Ohno, na busca da captura da
subjetividade da força de trabalho, da maior flexibilidade produtiva. Isso não se dá de
forma ingênua, mas pelo contrário, o capitalista têxtil o faz com grande dose de astúcia.

Abstract
The central target of lhe present work is to unmask the textile productive chain and
the geography of labour, specifically the labour relations in the textile industry, the
negotiations with the suppliers of raw material and the other productive factors, the
production area, as it circulates the capital-merchandise, the links between input and
output and finally the labour relations in the textile industry, using the study of case of
the Fiação Ceará. (Re)constructing the object from the immediate experience (empirical
knowledge) and of its theoretical critic, taking the textile industry as particularity, we say
about its pecialization. We deal about the technological modemizations, the relations
with the politics of quality, the social benefits, at last the strategies of the capital for
getting a better productivity. We show the evolution of the textile industry in the Ceará.
Facing an environment of increasing and differentiated competition in its form, lhe
companies have been forced in the direction to implement deep internal reorganizations
and to modify many of its strategical objectives.
However, the worker of the textile industry of the Ceará is far to get improvements,
since he is not valued by his wage. In his day-by-day, it is forcened in his personal and
natural characteristics, being obliged to follow norms and procedures which do not
belong to his social contexto Moreover, the high rotation which occurs in this "traditional
industrial branch" helps the textile capital in the attempt to accumulate experience in its
labour force.
The production process in the textile industry of the Ceará State is multiformous, in
that it says respect to its way of regulation. They are anomalous forms. In this industrial
sector, the capitalist tries to privilege the way of the fordist regulation, going until Ohno,
in the search of the capture of the subjectivity of the work force, of a greater productive
flexibility. This does not occur accidentally, but for the opposite, the textile capitalist
makes it with great dose of astuteness.
